About OrcaMet

Steve Carver

Stephen Carver - Founder and Lead Meteorologist at OrcaMet

I blend meteorology and high-performance mentality to deliver clear, actionable forecasts across multiple industries. I've logged 16 years of National and international competition, won 5 national championships, and worked with top teams around the world.

I studied Marine Science (focusing on Meteorology & Oceanography) at the University of East Anglia (UEA), and now lead OrcaMet—delivering precision weather solutions to sailing, agriculture, offshore operations, and high-risk industries globally.

My approach is calm, data-driven and collaborative: blend the best numerical models with local effects, validate against observations, and communicate only what matters for critical decision-making.
